    Storyline:金粉世家，乱世中爱恨皆轰轰烈烈。国务总理金鹏生有四子，其中以小儿子振西（刘松仁 饰）最为风流倜傥，灵气逼人，又得金家上下宠爱有加。同时，振西的婚事在大家心中亦暗暗有打算。大军阀之女洪丽珠（韩马利 饰）和振西是众人认定的天生一对。然而振西却不买这位刁蛮大小姐的帐，与其屡屡争执。真正让振西倾心的，却是纯情平民女学生燕秋（汪明荃 饰）。　　燕秋虽出身贫寒，却也不失傲骨，前去洪家求售名画时遭到丽珠的百般挑剔。振西为了接近燕秋，搬到她的隔壁住下，只求与佳人能朝夕相见，伺机接近。燕秋终被其诚意打动，排除万难进入了金家。不料，振西与燕秋感情的考验才刚刚开始，门第之悬殊，贫富之落差，人心之险恶，均让燕秋在金家中步步为艰，不知与振西情归何处。
